Humanity United with MIT Art and Nanotechnology in Space
A Record of Our Voices
In an effort to increase global representation in space, the HUMANS project creates a symbolic avenue for space access worldwide.

Thank you to all who joined our project by sending us a message in your native language, about the meaning of space to you and to humanity, in addition to an optional audio recording of your voice. Inspired by The Golden Record, we used MIT nanotechnology to etch these messages onto a six-inch record that will be launching up to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard the Axiom-2 mission. Separately, a smaller two-inch version will travel the surface of the Moon with the MIT Space Exploration Initiativeโ€™s โ€œTo The Moon To Stayโ€ program with Lunar Outpost and Intuitive Machines.

We invite you to explore this project if you also believe space should be a โ€œspaceโ€ for everyone!
